Our XRF analysts go where the rocks are! XRF Solutions uses portable XRF instruments which allows for rapid data collection, reduced transport costs and reduced storage fees. The analyses can be conducted on core, drill cuttings or outcrop samples. The methods are non-destructive and take only minutes per sample.
XRF analyses can be conducted at the well site using drill cuttings without interfering with the drilling process. Chemical data collected on-site allows for real-time logging of horizontal or vertical wells. This can assist with geo-steering decisions and hydraulic fracture treatment planning.
XRF provides a large data set at a relatively low cost. These data are used to determine reservoir properties comparable to those obtained by more expensive conventional methods.
