Interpretive: Reservoir Quality

Proper evaluation of the target reservoir requires a knowledge of the most important factors. These factors are gathered together into one log suite designated as “Reservoir Quality”.  The key factors selected for this log suite are detrital framework grains (quartz and feldspar), clay, cement, mechanical properties, porosity, a reservoir quality value and TOC. Wire line gamma is also displayed in the graphs for the vertical and horizontal wells though the Duvernay shown below in Figure A and Figure B.
